Critical Illness PROTECTION is designed to pay you a guaranteed lump sum if you suffer from one of the following conditions, and survive for at least 14 days, whilst the policy is in force for as long as you continue to pay the monthly premiums.
What is covered under Critical Illness Protection?

3. Aorta graft surgery
4. Aplastic Anaemia (with permanent bone marrow failure)
5. Bacterial Meningitis
6. Benign Brain Tumour

9. Cardiomyopathy
10. Coma
11. Coronary artery by-pass grafts
12. Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease
13. Deafness
14. Dementia/Pre-Senile Dementia (resulting in permanent symptoms)

17. Heart valve replacement or repair – with surgery to divide the breastbone
18. HIV infection and Hepatitis B Virus – acquired as a result of medical treatment in the UK or a documented incident occurring whilst on policy duty

What is a Critical Illness Protection policy?
Critical Illness PROTECTION pays out a lump sum if you are diagnosed with a critical illness that meets our policy definition whilst your cover is in force and then survive for at least 14 days. We only cover the critical illnesses we define in our policy and no others.
